Working principle

The seawater to be distilled evaporates at a temperature of about 38°C，as is passes between the hot plates in the evapora-tor.The evaporating temperature corresponds to a vacuum of approximately 94% which is maintained by the brine/air ejector.

The vapors generated pass through a demister where any drops of seawater entrained are removed and fail to the bottom of the distiller chamber. The vapor continue to the condenser where they condense to fresh water as they pass between the cold plates.

After checking by the salinometer, the fresh water in good quality be sent to fresh water tanker, unqualified freshwater be sent over board.

JYP series fresh water generator consists of the following components：

1.Evaporator section ： (Titanium plate)

The evaporator section consits of a plate heat exchanger and is enclosed in the separator chamber.

2.Condenser section (Titanium plate)

Same with evaporator section, the condenser section consists of a plate heat exchanger and is enclosed in the separator chamber.

3.Separator chamber(Cast bronze casing, stainless steel cover)

The separator separates the brine from the vapour.

4.Combined brine/air ejector(Cast bronze)

The ejector extracts the brine and incodensable gases from the separator chamber.

5.Ejector pump/Sea water pump

Normally, the sea water pump is delivered by manufacturer, and the sea water pump is a single stage vertical centrifugal pump. This pump supplies the condenser with sea water and brine/air ejector with jet water as well as feed water from evaporator.

6.Condensate pump/Fresh water pump

The freshwater pump is a single-stage centrifligal pump. The fresh water pump extracts the produced fresh water from i the condenser, and pumps the water to the freshwater tank.

7.Salinometer(Built in control panel)

The salinometer continuously checks the salinity of the produced water. The alarm set point is adjustable.

8.Control panel

Normally，the control panel is delivered by manufacturer.

It contains motor starters, running lights, salinometer, contacts for remote alarm and is prepared for start/stop.
